After taking early retirement from a long career at a Japanese automotive company, I spent some time reflecting on how to use the years ahead — and arrived at a single conviction. I wanted to meet people around the world, learn from the work of their hands, and let myself be shaped by what I encountered. Terra Arts began with those who share that conviction.

Strategy and numbers are only ever the means. What matters most is the connection between people — a quiet beginning, a shared moment of joy, an accumulation that, in time, becomes something we might call a bond. I hope to walk that path together with you, one encounter at a time.
